Pennsylvania health department secretery Eli Avila ordered an ID badge for himself and 9 branded jackets for his team. He faced critcism for his action as in Pennsylvania only law enforcement personnel get ID badges while all state employees get ID cards with job title, photo and employee name and agency name. Avila used to work at Suffolk County where he carried a badge. He was among first responders to 9/11 terrorist attack and found his ID highly useful. After governor Tom Corbett criticized the idea of ID badge Avila got rid of it.
