student ID card sufficient to vote in Wisconsin?

After heated debate GOP offered student ID cards to be acceptable form of identification at the state election polls. The photo ID card needs to meet certain restrictions in order to be valid for voting; ID card has to issued by accredited public or private university or college, include a photo, date of birth, current address, an expiration date no more than four years away, and a signature. Democrats insist the change to the voting bill is meaningless as not all students would meet the standards.
