Specs, turnaround, returns, and common questions about custom ID badges.

## Processing

**What is the turnaround time?** Most paid orders print the next business day (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Shipping time depends on the method selected at checkout.

**Is there a setup fee?** No.

**Do you offer bulk processing?** Yes. Free batch processing for 25+ badges on the same template. [Batch processing](https://www.quickidcard.com/id-badges-batch-process.md)

## Badge specifications

**Size?** Credit-card size CR80:

- Width: 3.375 inch (85.6 mm)
- Height: 2.125 inch (54 mm)
- Thickness: 30 mil (0.762 mm) standard; 40 mil and 50 mil available
- Corner rounding radius: 0.09 inch (2.4 mm)

**Material?** White PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Corrosion resistant, weather resistant, durable.

**Print quality?** 300 DPI. Continuous-tone ID card printers.

## Online creator

**After creating a template, can I use it for multiple badges?** Yes. Save, personalize for another person, save under another name.

**How do I create a custom ID card?** Three ways: (1) personalize a premade template, (2) start from a blank template, (3) upload print-ready artwork (3.375" × 2.125", 300 DPI, corner radius 0.09", no bleeds required in the file).

**Can I use my own design?** Yes. See [own artwork](https://www.quickidcard.com/guides/own-artwork-printing.md).

**How does the creator work?** [How the online creator works](https://www.quickidcard.com/how-online-id-card-creator-works.md)

**Can I customize each badge with a personal photo?** Yes. Change the portrait image, then update labels/barcodes, then Save Template.

## Own artwork

**Can I use a custom design?** Yes — customized image or ready-to-print artwork.

**Own artwork specs?** Width 3.375", height 2.125", 300 DPI (1020×640 pixels). Do not round corners. Full bleed may be slightly larger; the area above is what prints.

## Troubleshooting

**"Street address and postal code do not match"** is a generic credit card billing error. Call the card issuer for details.

**Why HTML5 instead of Flash?** Customer demand; the creator is HTML5. See https://www.quickidcard.com/why-the-id-badges-maker-moved-to-html5-from-flash
