# Own artwork guide

If you already have print-ready badge designs, upload them for professional PVC card printing. Files are reviewed before payment.

## Artwork specifications

- Dimensions: 3.375" × 2.125" (CR80) at 300 DPI (1020×640 pixels). Do not round the corners — we do that in production.
- QR codes and barcodes: they should cover at least 25% of the badge, or they may not scan after printing. Size is relative to the badge, not the screen (same rule for horizontal and vertical).
- Safe area: keep names, logos, and barcodes away from the edges and the slot area.
- Slot punch: do not include a slot hole in your artwork — it is often in the wrong place. Remove it from the design, then use Check artwork fit and Show slot punch on the order page. We punch the slot during production.
- Formats: PNG, JPG, or PDF. For many files, upload one ZIP or other archive (RAR, 7Z, TAR).
- Bleed: printable area is 3.375" × 2.125"; full-bleed files may be slightly larger.

## QR codes, barcodes, and slot punch

- QR codes and barcodes should cover at least 25% of the badge, or they may not scan after printing.
- Keep names, logos, and barcodes away from the edges and the slot area.
- Do not draw a slot hole in the file. Use the artwork-fit preview on the order page and turn on Show slot punch to see the real location.
- Slot punch is not available on horizontal NFC badges because the hole would damage the antenna. Choose a vertical orientation if you need both NFC and a slot punch.

## Order workflow

1. Upload artwork files (individual or ZIP)
2. Select options: thickness (30 mil or 50 mil), slot punch, clear or hologram overlays, two-sided printing, RFID/NFC. Slot punch is not available on horizontal NFC badges.
3. Enter quantity — volume discounts apply automatically
4. Submit for review
5. Pay after approval — next business day processing after payment

## FAQ

**How large should a QR code or barcode be?** At least 25% of the badge, or it may not scan after printing. Keep it away from the edges and the slot area.

**Should I draw a slot hole in the artwork?** No. Remove it from the file. Use Check artwork fit and Show slot punch on the order page. We punch the slot during production. Slot punch is not available on horizontal NFC badges.

**Multiple designs in one order?** Yes. Individual files or a ZIP archive.
