# How the online creator works

The QuickIDCard online ID card creator is a cloud-based, browser (HTML5) design studio. No software download. Supported browsers include Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

## Using the creator

1. Pick a template to personalize. The creator shows the badge plus controls on the left and bottom.
2. Click any object to open its control panel.
3. Bottom buttons add a new image, text label, or barcode; switch front/reverse; request a slot punch.
4. Portrait photo: replace photo, round corners, resize, change border color and thickness.
5. Images: upload, size, rotate, layer (bring up / put behind), drag to position.
6. Text labels: size, font color, font family, layers.
7. Barcodes: enter text to encode and select coding standard; layers and rotation supported.
8. Save Template stores the design in the account. Save again under another name to personalize for another person.
