Following the storm of April 27th North Georgia Electric announced there will be more company personnel expected to work on the field estimating damages and assisting home rebuilds. Company officials warned about scam artists posing as NGEMC personnel and other crisis workers. Every NGEMC employee has photo ID badge with the name on it, they also wear company shirts, often with the name imprinted. “Under no circumstances will NGEMC personnel ask to enter your home, ask for you to make a payment or ask for credit card or other personal information,” said tephanie Holder, Director of Member Services.
