HID iCLASS

HID iCLASS credentials combine 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology with optional 125 kHz proximity capability on a single ISO-standard card. They are designed for organizations that need secure access control, photo identification, and room to grow into additional applications on the same credential.

iCLASS smart card technology supports mutual authentication between card and reader, encrypted data transfer, and diversified keys for read/write contactless applications. Cards can be used for access control, network log-on security, time and attendance, cashless vending, event management, and biometric verification.

The iCLASS card meets ISO standards for card size and thickness for use with direct image and thermal transfer printers. It features a graphics-quality surface optimized for photo ID printing, and is available in standard PVC or composite polyester/PVC construction for high-wear environments.

Like other HID credentials, iCLASS cards can be produced with visual security and anti-counterfeiting features such as holograms, ultra-violet fluorescent inks, micro-printing, or a custom logo to help identify genuine cards.
